Masquerade Ball
by PamFord Davis

I think it would be a hoot to attend a masquerade ball. It would bring back the child in me; I would once more play dress up. The Sherlock Holmes personality would try to solve the mystery of guests' identities; my Lone Ranger persona would hide behind a mask. At the close of the party, as the orchestra plays the last dance, I'd remove my mask and the masquerade would end.

Satan, his demons and devotees masquerade, but soon his party will be over. "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their deeds (2 Corinthians 11:13-15 NAS)." Remove his mask and he must flee! (James 4:7)
