A Diamond Documentation
by PamFord Davis

DiamondsWe know they are enduring, costly and in high demand. Fidgeting, a beau puts a diamond rings upon the finger of his beloved. Stammering, he pops the question, "Will you marry me?" In his eyes, the sparkle of the multifaceted diamond diminishes only by comparison to the sparkle in the eyes of the bride-to-be. The diamond makes their engagement official.

God has used a diamond to make His point.
"The sin of Judah is written down with an iron stylus;
With a diamond point it is engraved upon the tablet of their heart,
And on the horns of the altars (Jeremiah 17:1 NAS)."

The diamond point officially documented sin. God's word is sharp and to the point.
"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12 NAS)." He reads my mind; He judges my heart.
