Flower for the Lord
by Jennifer Molloy Psalm 62:8 Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah Flower for the Lord If you follow the Lord with all your heart He will make the weeds depart And in the small space He opens wide Opportunity for growth abides As a seed is sown a tender shoot turns it head up to the sky Clothed in brightest collar white with sunny face so shy Stands out against the field so green not content to be the status quo Because the Lord has called for her and she must go This is her time to trust and flower Knowing He will supply the hour When the seasons lament and blow He will be her anchors bow He will feed her all she needs And she will trust him with all she see's And when the cruel winds of winter creep She will enter the winter deep And return to Him in heavenly field up on high Clothed in brightest collar white with sunny face so shy Contact me at [email protected] I am a freelance writer and poet that writes poetry and commentary on my christian life.
