He is Able
by PamFord Davis Christ Jesus is ready, willing and able. He offers a full and meaningful life; we are free to accept or reject his gift. He is ready. Why do so many people delay? We do not have to coax or prod him. He is willing. Why do skeptics doubt? We need never fear his ability to fulfill his claims. He is able. The choice is obvious: destroyer versus deliverer. "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep (Pilgrim Study Bible)." I can trust him. Jesus is indeed ready, willing and able!
