EVERYTIME!
by Ramona Cook EVERYTIME I went into my garden spot and I want you to know that I planted bean seeds so neatly in a row. It takes a little time for things we plant to grow, but it's a fact that what we plant is exactly what will show. I watched each day so as to view the tiny shoots that would soon show through the soft ground, but when they grew... this is what I found CORN! Corn? I planted beans, how can that be? I must confess, it's plain to see I planted corn seed, all by mistake. We must take note, see and know that there is a law in every land for every person to understand: What you sow, you will grow! "Seed time and harvest are certain, God has said it is the truth. It is the way He planned it and that is good for me and you. The trick is to be aware of the seed we sow, making certain that it is what we really want to grow. IF WE WANT BEANS WE DON'T PLANT CORN! There are seeds of other kinds and other soil into which we plant, sometimes it is "the soil of our minds," we place the seed and then forget. A simple thought is a seed; it can be good or evil: it is our choice to be aware, to guard our minds and what we place in there, for seed will grow whatever we sow, EVERYTIME! In the Bible we are told that God has settled it as a fact to be known, "Seed time and harvest will not fail until the end of time." This is a happy thing for us because if it was not a fact, then our food supply would be affected. But take note, the "Law of Sowing and Reaping" also works when we sow things we do not want to reap, and then we find ourselves living with the results! However, we are not without ability to control what we grow, we simply choose what we plant. Choose from life's good things, sow seeds of honesty, love, compassion, kindness, pleasant words, and the seeds of beauty; it cannot be otherwise but that those are the crop you will produce and your life will be enriched. (psst, so will everyone's life around you be better.) It's a win win!
