Super Absorbency
by PamFord Davis I must admit, I'm impressed. The advertising agency demonstrates the super absorbency of their paper-towel using a close-up camera shot. I witness a spilled liquid and a hand immediately wiping it away with their towel. The pitchman promotes the product by frequently mentioning its super absorbency. Is my life a demonstration of scripture absorbency? Will I be a sponge, soaking up God's word? I want to be super absorbent. "I will meditate on Your precepts and think about Your ways. I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word (Psalm 119:15-16 HCS)." Within the sacred writings, Living water flows. Lord, I hasten to absorb every drop and quench my spiritual thirst.
