What's Your Reality?
by Shakera Reid-Stewart

The question to ponder as you develop in life will be: What's my reality?
Do you hope to be a Survivor or will you be one of the Biggest losers?
The key is to live life according to Law & Order.
Let's face it; you do only have this One Life To Live.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Most of us wouldn't reject the opportunity.
This is the Real World, baby!
It's made for resilient ones.
So on this journey, you need to follow the Road Rules.
One rule is that Cheaters never prosper! Don't be fooled by their short-lived glory.

As the World Turns, there will be many disappointments.
Nevertheless, know that this course that you will be running will be an Amazing Race.
When faced with the choice of being an American Idol or a Desperate Housewife,
I know you'd rather be Dancing with the stars.
In order to assure success, it is necessary to be hardworking and dedicated.

Are you smarter than a 5th Grader?
If you are, you know that these shortcuts that we sometimes take don't pan out correctly.
We often end up in General Hospital or planning a Prison Break.
Be committed to your cause; don't be a follower.
Create your own trends; don't let them tell you What Not To Wear!

It is often satisfying to get accolades and recognition as the Apprentice.
Wouldn't it be even better if you were the King of the Hill?
These are the Days of our Lives and no one can live them for us.
Appreciate, and most importantly, accept who you are.
Don't succumb to peer pressure just because The Price Is Right.

Most importantly, embrace God's love and he'll help you through.
Live each day in confidence, One Day At A Time.
Never be afraid to reach for the stars,
Know that you have truly been Touched By An Angel.
