Lord Give Me A Burden
by Lewis E. Thomas I call myself a Christian trying to walk that Narrow Way But I seldom read my Bible and I seldom pray! I have no real burden for a world of lost souls! I find myself focused on the world and my gold. I spend many wasted hours watching my T.V. But seldom find the time to get on my knees! Lord, open my eyes and please let me see! The plague of sin and suffering out there in humanity! Lord, give me a burden for the souls of all men! Give me a burden for those dying in sin! Lord, give me a burden for my sister and for my brother! Lord, please give all mankind a burden for one another! Lord, my heart is too focused on carnal things!
