Are You Rapture Ready, Part Two
by Irma Green

2 Peter 3:3-4a,8-10a ... knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their lusts. 4- and saying "where is the promise of His coming?" ... 8- But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9- The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentence. 10a- But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night...

The Bible says, "there will be scoffers." If you are one of those or know someone who says, "it's not time yet, Jesus is not coming until, etc., this is not the end-time; instead of accepting the fact that He could come at any time, including today - if you are one of those you are a scoffer and you are "NOT" rapture ready.

Scoffers, doubters are not rapture ready. Most people don't want to hear the truth. They are not rapture ready; they want to think this world will go on forever as it is - NOT SO!!!

Even if you die before the rapture you will need to be rapture ready, so that you will be one of the dead in Christ to rise first. To die in Christ is to be rapture ready. If you die in Christ you are rapture ready. You need to ask yourself, "Am I rapture ready?"

People are leaving this world left and right - in many different ways. Question is, did they leave rapture ready? If God called you home today, can you say for sure that you are rapture ready?

God made this world and holds it in His hands, but there is a time limit on it. The time is coming when this world will come to an end. There is also a time limit on your life. Just like the rapture will be sudden, your life can and will end suddenly!! God does not tell you when you will die! Even if you have a long illness - you still do not know the day; the doctors don't know the exact day - only God - So "get ready."

You know, God is not so interested in the time you spend on earth - He is interested in the time you will spend with Him in eternity!!

There will be a lot of chaos, confusion, at the rapture, especially for those who have never even heard about the rapture. They are not going to know what's going on - the unsaved I'm talkking about; those that will be left behind.

Some people have never set foot inside a church except for a funeral or a wedding. And there will be those who are in church but have never heard of the rapture; never been taught about the rapture.

On the day of the rapture there will be people in church, some will be raptured, some left behind. Some left behind will be the pastor, some deacons, deaconess, missionaries, Sundy school teachers, prayer warriors, prayer intercessors, just because you have a title does not guarantee you will be raptured. That's why I say "Are you rapture ready?"

The subject of the Rapture has caused great controversy within the Christendom. The sad part is that very little, if any, is taught in the average church. I will speak boldly about this - many people will to straight to hell right from the church pew, some, not all for "lack of knowledge"; some because they "have the knowledge but rejected it."

At the rapture the dead in Christ will rise from wherever they are, fires, earthquakes, the sea, plane crash; where and how it happened doesn't matter, if they died in Christ they will be raised at the Rapture.
