Christmas Gift Tags
by PamFord Davis I remember reading all of the names of my family on Christmas gift tags, taped to wrapped packages under our Christmas tree each year. With a family of five children, Mom had quite a bit of wrapping, taping and tagging to do before she taped on the colorful bows. When the time came to open presents, I was excited to see several tagged, "To: Pam From: Mom and Dad." Timothy's gifts did not contain a tag. "To: Timothy From: Father God." God did not gift wrap blessings to Timothy, tag or tie them with bows. They 'were' what Timothy and everyone needs most. Paul greeted him. "To Timothy, a true son to me in the faith we share. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord (1 Timothy 1:2 ERV)."
