From the Stable to you, his powerhouse!
by Heather Mars The Holy Spirit reminded me of the lyrics to a 1980's TV commercial, "You took a house, and made it a home, gave it yourself, made it your own." This is what Jesus has done for us, His "temples" (1 Cor 3:16) by the power of His Holy Spirit (Dunamis), dwelling within us, this treasure in earthen vessels (2 Cor 4:7). We are transformed as we continually surrender every area of our lives to His Lordship and allow Him to have His way (flow through us). Not only do our minds change (thoughts and behaviours) to be more like his, but He also releases His dunamis power from His Spirit in union with ours, filtering into our souls, magnifying our personalities and making then brighter, releasing the fruit of His spirit and infusing us with the life and light of His Spirit flowing through our gifts, talents and abilities and calibrating us to function at higher levels of excellence and larger capacities. This is Dunamis power flowing through you! Thankyou Jesus for the most precious gift of you! "For we are his creation, created through Jesus Christ ultimately for good works, and God has before ordained that we should live in them." Eph 2:10 Lamsa "For in him we live and move and have our being, as some of your own wise men have said, For we are his kindred."
