What Do You Want to Be?
by PamFord Davis

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Teachers, relatives, even perfect strangers question boys and girls on what they want to do and be in their future.

"And, what do you want to do when you grow up?"

Some say.... teachers, doctors, nurses, firefighters, police officers, soldiers, lawyers

Others might want to be pastors or missionaries.

I still have a lot of growing up to do. I want to be like my LORD.

"And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints, for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13 NAS)."
