Security Essentials
by PamFord Davis

I am not paranoid about a computer crash but I do work to avoid problems through "Microsoft Security Essentials."

The system uses a color code:

Green= A safe system
Amber= Potentially unprotected
Red= Problem has been detected through their system

Recently, when noticing an amber icon, I quickly linked to the site and ran a scan on my computer. As it worked, I watched as the icon quickly turned from amber to green. The thought came to mind of my need for regular scans in my Christian walk with the Lord.

"Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24 Amplified Bible)."
