Alongside Louisiana Davis
by PamFord Davis

Crowds flocked to theaters to witness the adventures of Indiana Jones. I walked the isle to begin life as a bride and to walk alongside "Louisiana Davis." Each of my forty-six years of marital bliss with Norm has held a mixture of adventure as we moved from state-to-state, meeting challenges and making friends. I would describe our experiences in many ways, boring does not make the list. Louisiana Davis, my lifelong companion.... For he is a jolly good fellow!

"Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labor, and fellow soldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants. For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye heard that he had been sick (Philippians 2:25-26 KJV)." Apostle Paul praised Epaphroditus, his brother-in-Christ, when addressing the church at Philippi. Paul knew firsthand the adventures of mission trips and treasuring friends.
