WHERE ARE WE CHURCH?

The Church is in the hall dancing
Busy with titles and dresses
While the world to be saved by her
Is left to itself in the dark!

The Church is in the hall shouting
Fighting for seats which are scanty
Has she not lost the sole purpose
Why Jesus came, died and arose?

The Church is trapped in religion
Lacking in pow'r and dominion
No strong-deep influence on the world
Instead, she's buying her dead works

Why is the Church no more sober?
Is the revival wind over?
Maybe not closer to her Lord
As she used to thirst for His Word

The Church is relaxed; satisfied
Earthly things are now magnified
What about the things eternal
Which fade not but are immortal?

Have not the Church lost the passion
To die in the great commission?
Is she still willing to burn out
And look above life's cares and doubts?
