Come on Down!
by PamFord Davis "Come on down!" People sit out in the Price is Right game show audience awaiting the calling of their name as the newest contestant. They will then have their opportunity to guess the price of a specific item. Eager, they hope that the price is right. Jesus paid a high price for my salvation. He did not bicker about the purchase price; He bought my freedom. "He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a special people, eager to do good works (Titus 2:14 HCS)." I am eager to serve the sacrificial Lamb of God. Do not think of me as staunchly self confident that I can make it through life alone. "You are not your own, for you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body (1 Corinthians 6:19b-20 HCS)." The price is right.
