Stepping on My Toes
by PamFord Davis

Just a thought.... If my pastor "steps on my toes" it may be a stepping-stone to maturity. You know what I mean, right? You hear a sermon and feel your pastor is speaking it directly to you. Conviction for sin grips your heart. Take a stand.

Rise to the occasion. Why is God (through our ministers) stepping on our toes? They are sharing God's corrective words.

"When you walk here and there, they will guide you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; when you wake up, they will talk to you. For a commandment is a lamp, teaching is a light, and corrective instructions are the way to life (Proverbs 6:22-23 HCS)." Keep the lights burning!
