Dear God-tracker

GOD-TRACKING IS SURRENDERING ONLY TO PRAYER DURING LIFE'S BATTLES

The beginning of fear is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of fear.

A story is told of how one of Napoleon's generals once appeared with 18,000 soldiers before a small defenseless Austrian town. The town council met and decided that surrender was the only option. However, the old dean of the church reminded the council that it was Easter, and begged them to hold services as usual and to leave the trouble in God's hands. They followed his advice. The dean went to the church and rang the bells to announce the service. The French soldiers heard the church bells ring and concluded that the Austrian army had come to rescue the town. They broke camp, and before the bells had ceased ringing, vanished.

In this daily life we live as God-trackers often we are faced with circumstances we deem beyond our control. Indeed, facing fearful situations may well be beyond our control but if we are truly walking with God and acknowledging him in all our ways in all our circumstances then we can be sure that he will direct the outcome of every situation no matter how "under" we may believe we are. The Bible tells us that God has prepared a way out of every battle we face through Jesus Christ, who triumphed over our enemy at Calvary. Even strong people suffer anxiety and fret when circumstances get out of control but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

So no matter what adverse circumstance you may be facing today continue to seek God's purposes before taking any other option and believe that he is in control. If you find your back is up against the wall as you face financial strain, emotional depression, bereavement and loss or physical illness understand that if you call on God before stepping out with that white flag then he will most certainly deliver you from the hand of the enemy. If you put God first then every valley you face shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.

The next time you see armies massing on your doorstep don't rush out with your hands up, instead go into your prayer closet and ring those bells in faith. Then take a step back and watch how God will rescue you.

God-tracking is surrendering only to prayer during life's battles

Quote of the Week A Sample of Dudley's Fave Quotes "We can walk without fear, full of hope and courage and strength... waiting for the endless good which God is always giving as fast as He can get us to take it in." --- George Macdonald

Don't Give Up, Look Up! Look up and Fix Your Eyes on Jesus! I don't give up but look up as more than a conqueror in him
Pray: "Dear God when I look out the window of my life all I can see are armies massing against me from every side. I admit that I do not have the power in myself to stand against them; Lord, I need your help. I am feeling overwhelmed by my circumstances and realise that I need to seek first your righteousness and your kingdom. And so, dear God, I lay myself bare before you and call upon your strength to see me through. Lord, meet my needs, lift my spirits and heal my hurts. Lord I claim your victory and your blessing upon my life in the face of the enemy. I confess that Jesus has triumphed and, through faith in his name, I don't give up but look up as more than a conqueror in him. Amen."
