Combat!
by PamFord Davis I am not a fan of war movies. There are exceptions to the rule; if there is a splash of romance, humor or music, I might actually enjoy them. The television show, "Combat" was not on my top ten list. Actual combat experiences are not entertaining. The realization that God's people can be hostile, [combative] towards Him and His will is shocking. "And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach(Colossians 1:21-22 NAS)." Combat is a travesty of grace; in surrendering to His will, we find lasting peace.
