My Champion
by Faith Noles Did you know You are my Hero, Champion and Lord of Hosts? All others fall at Your side and I love You most. Fighting my battles for me like a valiant shining Knight, Piercing doubt with a two edged sword, turning my faith to sight. Hair of brilliant white and eyes of flaming fire, Jesus is my Champion and He's all that I desire. My Hero has fought the fight and over death He's won-- My victorious brilliant Champion, God's only begotten Son. If I falter at the battlefront and the enemy whispers in my ear, I just call out to my Captain and I feel His presence near. Get behind me Satan for I have my Master's grace, He's already triumphed over you and I see His glorious face. All will kneel before the throne and proclaim that He is King. To Jesus the Captain of my soul, the victory cry I sing. Faith Noles is a retired Registered Nurse, wife, mother and grandmother who is passionate about spreading the gospel.
