Never Say Never
by PamFord Davis Most friends know how much I like to read and share quotes. I just used my search engine but came up empty. I refer to the familiar "Never say never;" I was afloat in a sea of Justin Bieber links. I had attributed "Never say never' to Winston Churchill but I was wrong. His famous inspirational quote was "Never, never, never give up." That is tenacity with your heels dug in. I say never, yet forever. First, Old Testament sacrifices were never sufficient. "By this will, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus once and for all. Now every priest stands day after day ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never takes away sins. But this man, after offering one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God (Hebrews 10:10-12 HCS)." What animal sacrifices could never do, Jesus forever will!
