In remembrance
by Anne Linington Celebrate that I have lived Be thankful for all the evidence that I loved Rejoice that I laughed Be glad that I was born And for all the years that lay before me Remember my hard work Recall my acts of kindness Note that I was me Uniquely made, I uniquely lived Be grateful for the contribution that I made to all the lives I touched -Especially to your own Your recollections mean that my life had meaning That I found fulfilment in knowing you, in loving you And having my own place in your heart Continue to love me for all that I was to you And draw strength from the life that we shared together I live in the UK, and attend an evangelical Church of England, where I am training as a Reader, (lay preacher). I support the work of a Christian Healing Centre, and enjoy writing, particularly poetry. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
