I Won't Complain
by Irma Green

What is important? I was watching the dedication of the "9/11" Museum, it was very painful; it brought back the pain of that day. It makes you wonder, what is important?
We complain about every little thing, when we think about that day, and the lives of all those innocent people that was lost that day, we should feel ashamed of complaining about anything. We need to adopt the phrase, "I won't complain."

My life is good. I might not be in good health; might not have all I want, I am blessed to have what I have. I won't complain; I am alive, I am in my right mind, I am here, I won't complain!!

You might say. "I don't have a job, I may have trouble making ends meet, but I have a God who sustains me; so, I won't complain.

Every day has a new beginning, don't complain, make the best of it. Don't waste it by: being angry, worrying, fighting, holding a grudge, being anxious, stressed out, back-biting, feeling sorry for yourself, envy, having an unforgiving spirit; stop being bitter or having resentment, fault-finding, criticizing , blaming others. Instead enjoy each day that the Lord has made, you may not see tomorrow.

When I look around and see all the devastation, the hurt, the pain, the sorrow, the mistreatment of the elderly and children in this world, I say "forgive me Lord for my pettiness - I will not complain!!

It is obvious you woke up this morning, you are reading this; your first words should have been "thank you Lord for another day, I won't complain today;" and if you didn't, make sure you do it first thing tomorrow morning and let it carry you through out the day.

Don't complain; what difference does it make if you get your clothes into the dry cleaners before they close, "really"!! What difference does it make if the store ran out of what you went there for? What difference does it make if you have to stand in line a few minutes - or have to wait at the light? What difference does it make if a family member ate the last bit of ice cream you had planned to eat?

In the whole scheme of things, what difference do those little things make? None of those things matters in the scheme of your life! NOT ONE OF THEM!!

What difference does it make - Don't Complain!!
