Fancy That!
by PamFord Davis

Fancy that; it's spring!

Not 'only' young men turn their thoughts to love; it is a reciprocal arrangement. The first signs of spring in God's creation rejuvenate us. So, who needs spring tonic?

"My love calls to me:
Arise, my darling.
Come away, my beautiful one.
For now the winter is past;
the rain has ended and gone away.
The blossoms appear in the countryside.
The time of singing has come,
and the turtledove's cooing is heard
in our land.
The fig tree ripens its figs;
the blossoming vines give off
their fragrance.
Arise, my darling.
Come away, my beautiful one (Song of Songs 2:10-13 HCS)."

Is that poetic? Yes. King Solomon penned the ageless message of springtime romance. Our Creator inspired him through nature's visual imagery.

Fancy that; it's spring!
