How to Tear Down a Wall
by PamFord Davis

The early church had its problems; those of Jewish ancestry and traditions had erected insurmountable wall barriers between themselves and Gentiles. Two thousand years later, President Reagan demanded the removal of the Berlin wall.

The all-powerful LORD God removed the prejudiced wall of separation.

"But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah. For He is our peace, who made both groups one and tore down the dividing wall of hostility (Ephesians 2:13 HCS)."

Jesus tore down the wall!

"[He did this so] that He might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross and put the hostility to death by it (Ephesians 2:16 HCS)." 'Reconciled,' that's such a nice ring to my ears. See any walls of separation? Raise the cross of Calvary!
