guidance

Divine guidance (Genesis 16.13.)

Our world and all that is in it, is made up of spiritual and physical components. The irrefutable laws that govern its existence are spiritual. And have dire consequences on the physical, when neglected. Gen.3:11-12.

Therefore the need for guidance becomes necessary if one must chart his way to success in this life. We need guidance in our career decisions, in our choices, in every area of our lives.
Whenever God wants to guide a man He sends His word, He did it in the Garden of Eden when He spoke to the man do not eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil and He does it today by His words written in the bible. (Joshua 1.8)
We can choose His guidance or we can neglect it like Adam did. The choice is ultimately ours God doesn't force us to obey Him. But He gives us reasons to obey Him. Some of them are found in the following scriptures.
psalm 12:6, the words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in the furnace of the earth, purified seven times.
Jeremiah 29.11, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
An example of how much we need God's guidance can be seen in two stories I find rather interesting, both about Abraham's maid Hagar, in the first Story, she calls God a name seldom used by our generation. "You are the God who sees", genesis 15.13.
In the second story, God proves His name, by opening her eyes to see what only He could see, Genesis 21.19.
God gave her divine guidance and will give you if you walk in His ways.
