Lifelong Commitment
by PamFord Davis Long-term contracts and commitments are difficult to keep. Consider New Year's resolutions. How long do they last? Oops, did I step on your toes? I did not mean to put you on a one-way guilt trip. As a childhood taunt clearly stated, "It takes one to know one!" I too have broken many New Year's resolutions. The Psalm writer made a vow we all should keep. "Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! While I live I will praise the LORD; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being (Psalms 146:1-2 NKJ)." He made a lifelong commitment to God and to himself. He would praise the LORD!
