Sunny Side Up
by PamFord Davis

Life is not only 'like a box of chocolates.'

It's the breakfast menu at your favorite diner. How do you want your eggs, sunny side up, over easy, scrambled, soft-boiled, poached or in a fluffy omelet? I must not leave out my favorite of French toast. Too many choices, you say? Does it really matter how we start our day?

The words that come out of my mouth are much more important than the foods I fork in.

"Give ear to my words, O LORD,
Consider my meditation.
Give heed to the voice of my cry,
My King and my God,
For to You I will pray.
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up (Psalms 5:1-3 NKJ)."

Look up...

"Waitress, make my order sunny side up!"
