Anxiety
by jackie parent Apprehension emerges out of thin air; quickly the feeling bursts into fear. My heart beating faster with every breath. Now I am completely focused on death. I wonder what it's like to be completely free of anxiety? It is a symptom of deep pain in me Of childhood things that happened you see. The scars that remain are now called shame. It is absurd that I would shoulder the blame. I declare this is the time for me to soar and emerge from this internal war. God please take this struggle away, and release me from shame this day. Thank You for everything you've done for me, and baring all my anxiety. Believer for 22 years. Project Manager by day, aspiring writer by night. My heart is to honor the Lord from my heart.
