Last Leg of the Journey
by PamFord Davis My husband Norm was an over-the-road truck driver; Interstates, as wells as back roads took both of us coast-to-coast. The load assignments came from his dispatchers through in-truck 'Qualcomm' wireless apparatus. After learning his pick-up destination for new loads, we found the best route and began the road trips. Our enthusiasm frequently waned by the last leg of long trips. As a Christian, I hope to complete the last leg of my spiritual journey with vitality and courage. "and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:6b-7 NKJ)."
