Mountain Top Prayer Room
by PamFord Davis Sure, I admit I would like to have daily mountain top experiences; yet, could I endure the rigors of the steep climbing? The valley also has advantages, often providing me with a close up view of green grasses, wildflowers in bloom and fresh water springs. Sometimes, when I least expect it, the LORD leads me by the hand through the valley. We ascend the mountain slopes to its top for a brief peak at paradise. Jesus is well accustomed to the seclusion and heights of a mountain top prayer room. Christ Jesus prayed when religious leaders rejected His deity 'and' His powers to heal. During times of prayer He found communion with His Father; receiving strength and guidance, Christ made crucial decisions. "During those days He went out to the mountain to pray and spent all night in prayer to God.
