Undaunted by Dangers
by PamFord Davis Do you hear a distant sound of a chicken clucking? That would be me. I'm a chicken personified; yet, I have taken great strides in overcoming fears. Our awesome God destroys strongholds. "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee. In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me (Psalm 53:3-4 NAS)." Unforeseen dangers lurk around corners and loom behind dark clouds. Do I allow the unknown to immobilize me or am I instead undaunted by dangers? I consider Paul's plight. " in far more labors, in far more imprisonments, beaten times without number, often in danger of death. Five times I received from the Jews thirty-nine lashes. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have spent in the deep.
