Though He dwells in Heaven's light Yet abides in me right here! Vs2: Isn't it an amazing mystery, That d'immortal King of glory, Humbly dwells in'd frail and poor me, By His Spirit, Great and Holy? Vs3: Isn't it too great a privilege, That the Holy One of Israel In'His own Wisdom and foreknowledge Chose to make me His residence Vs4: Can I fathom the great honour, Of having the Ancient of days, Whom all beings bow to His splendor Condescend in me, this is grace! Vs4: The LORD who made Heaven and Earth; Who fashioned the sun, moon, and stars And holdeth the worlds by His Strength This Great I AM lives in my heart! Vs5: That Jesus Christ who walked the streets Doing good, healing, saving souls Has saved me, entered my spirit To continue His works of old!
