Reconstruction
by Dee Kyalo

A cause for great concern, calling for weeping
Defenses have crumbled away, vulnerability gains entry
See ruins and desolation, a deviation from potential
Hopelessness, helplessness, mourning...

***

Fasting and praying
Confession, repentance
Returning...

***

Need to arise and rebuild
Commitment to re-establish
A will to work and reclaim
To take back redemption

***

Stop!
Watch for opposition,
Be alert, prepared, armed
Contention lies in wait
Be strong and courageous
Anticipate mercy and favor
But proceed with caution
Staying prayerful and faithful
Determined, you triumph

When the walls in our lives are broken down, we get greatly concerned and go through a period of confession, committing ourselves to God with a need to rebuild. However, Satan makes things difficult when we start turning back to God. This is an encouragement to have courage and proceed with caution for rebuilding to be successful.
