Never Fade Away
by PamFord Davis

The new bride, arrayed in beautiful white gown, tosses her bouquet to a crowd of want to-be brides. Superstitious, they believe that the one who catches the posies will be next down the aisle.

I cast aside superstition and cling to scripture. Floral bouquets will fade away. The Father's love and provision is everlasting.

"The LORD has appeared of old to me saying: 'Yes; I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you (Jeremiah 31:3 NKJ)."

His Holy Spirit assures me of His providential care and draws me nearer

"So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these (Matthew 6:28 NKJ)."
