Clothed With God
by Jose Herrera

Based on Jeremiah 2:31-32 & Ephesians 6:11-17

"Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten Me..."

We must always remember that God is our protective covering. He is the pure white attire we must wear everyday as His purified bride. He is our new clothing, our armor of security, protection and love as we walk through life. We need his clothing of strength, dignity and light as we continously walk this journey called life.

How you may ask, we can possibly do this?

He has instructed that we can do nothing apart from Him...we need the indwelling and outpouring of His Spirit to clothe us.

Everyday fix your eyes on Jesus and as your hope is fixed on Him you are purified, because He is pure. Everyday heed, treasure and be a keeper of His word within your heart and mind. Allow His word to clothe you from the inside out, by fervently seeking him everyday with your whole being. For in Him we have our being and existence.

When we walk away from God and his ways we start to travel toward things that are empty and hence we become empty and void ourselves. The old saying is so appropo: You will become what you behold!

When we allow ourselves to walk with him and after him, in essence we are walking after His fullness and become content and full in Him.

Ask today to be clothed by Him and He shall do it as He sees fit, seek to be clothed by Him and He will show you how as he reveals himself to you. Expect today to be washed and clothed by God as you seek him in all you do.
Amen,
In HIM
