Praise

Praise...

I request a minute of your time as I concentrate on the word 'praise.'

'Pra(y)' is at the beginning of the word and praising God is apt to begin many of my prayers. As I ponder His mercy and grace for me, I am compelled to praise Him.

'O Come All Ye Faithful,' one of my favorite Christmas hymns contains a pertinent phrase. 'Oh come let us adore Him!'

In adoration, I continue to worship with 'raise' from the word praise. Along with His Father, I exalt Jesus; raise His name above all names.

"For this reason God also highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bowof those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earthand every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11 HCS)."

Praise

"Exalt the LORD our God; bow in worship at His footstool. He is holy (Psalm 99:5 HCS)."
