God's Love Letter
by Mark Heatherly When you love Me with all your heart & soul & might, When you give Me everything you have, everything you are, Then will I give you everything I have, everything I am. Then will you know that I am. This is love, This is Me, This is all. When all that you are is gone, Then all that I am will be. You will know Me by My love, Then you will truly know Me. All that you know & all that you now have My child, is but for a time, Your life does not consist in what you possess in riches in fame, In status in stature, in family in friends, it is not as you suppose. Your life is hidden in Christ & what you are has not yet been revealed. But now you have a stewardship, For who will give you what is yours, If you cannot be trusted with that which is not your own? All that I have, I have given you, I have given you Myself, I did not hold back. Give Me what you took, the boastful pride of life, And I will give you all that I am, the way, the truth & the life. This is My purpose, this is My plan, This is My Son. All that I have, all that I am. If only you could see all that I have prepared, For eyes have not seen & ears have not heard all that I have planned for you. But remove the scales from your eyes, The boastful pride of life, And you will see clearly, Who you are in Me.
