Giving and Receiving
by PamFord Davis

The Christmastime excitement and anticipation of children is undiluted joy.

Their eyes light up brighter than lights on their decorated trees. Repeatedly, they make out long wish lists and hope that they will receive each gift.

Gift 'giving' is also special to children

When one of our grandsons was young, we took him to dollar stores every year before Christmas. We gave him money to buy inexpensive gifts for family and friends.

The small amount of money we invested paid off in high dividends. He beamed!

What can I give to others this Christmas?

"And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35b NKJ)."
