by PamFord Davis Only a small number of Christmas songs have staying power. It is nearly impossible for songwriters to pen new songs that will have the distinction of becoming a Christmas classic. The traditional 'Go Tell It on the Mountain' has staying power. It echoes scripture "Behold, on the mountains The feet of him who brings Good tidings, Who proclaims peace (Nahum 1:15a NKJ)!" Tell the good tidings; share the good news "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21 NKJ)." He will save...
