All of Me
by PamFord Davis

Commitment, is the term outdated or simply misunderstood?

We live in a generation of temporary jobs, hair colors, and leased cars. Temporary best describes a majority of relationships between man and woman, employer and employee.

Signing on the dotted line for long-term contracts is radical and way outside comfort zones by the noncommittal, fearing they may be stuck in an unfulfilled arrangement. Seeking ways of future escape, they prefer trial marriages and temporary staffing; seeing both as safe and satisfactory.

I forfeit blessings when I shy away from committal.

God wants all of me.

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might (Deuteronomy 6:4-5 KJV)."

This is the greatest commandment. (Matthew 22:37-38) I urge you; please join me in making that commitment. He in turn will keep His promise to be with us always.
