Created by God, But Whose are You?
by David Rester Your love You give indiscretely To all that are on this earth. All humankind that You created, Knowing each before our birth. By Your love, we are created and gifted; Given purpose by Your will. Ingrained with knowledge of You; But in us, freewill, You instill. We are born into a world of sin, Brought forth through first-made man; With that freewill that is in us, We decide what we can't, and can. Those choices are what we live by; And die by, all the same; For in them, we prove who we are of; And who is our father's name. For if you trust in yourselves, And this world, and all it's ways; Then Satan is who you are of, And in darkness you will stay. But if you trust on the Son of God, And follow in His ways; Then you are of God, Who is in heaven, And in His loving Light, you will stay. From the day I responded to God's calling, accepting His love, by repenting, and accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord (all through Him, His love, and GRACE); He has continued to grow our relationship, revealing all He desires, for me to know and share.
