Imperfection Made Pure
by David Rester

Looking upon the sun,
Is like looking upon God;
For the eyes will be destroyed.
For the flesh in itself is corruptible,
Made imperfect and impure, through this world.

Just as impurities are removed by the flames,
The intensity of the sun will consume the flesh;
For who can survive naked in the fullness of the sun?
For it will soon burn, dry out, and be consumed to nothing;
But the dust from which it was created.

Likewise, man in his imperfect and impure flesh,
Can not stand in the presence of God;
Unless he is covered and indwelled by His Spirit;
By believing wholeheartedly in His Son: Jesus;
That His blood was shed for our sins and imperfections.

Knowing also that these things come not through self;
For nothing comes that way;
But only through the love, mercy, and grace; of God;
In Him, whose glory and holiness, shines as the sun.
That we may one day, come before Him, giving Him all glory and praise forever.

From the day I responded to God's calling, accepting His love, by repenting, and accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord (all through Him, His love, and GRACE); He has continued to grow our relationship, revealing all He desires, for me to know and share. All glory and praise being my Father's---- GOD!
