Our Job Description
by PamFord Davis

A written or verbal job description is essential when undertaking new responsibilities. We need to know our job requirements when beginning a full-time job, temporary employment or readying ourselves for volunteer service. What strengths will we bring to the job?

'Do you do windows?' However, once as clear as glass, today the employer may query your computer capabilities. Without a description, we grope in the dark, unsure if we are doing all that our employer or supervisor expects of us. Often the list of duties expands over time.

God also expands our opportunities of service. The Prophet Micah understood fully what the LORD required.

"He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8 NKJ)."
