CATACLYSM
by Maurice A. Williams

Could it be true that Phaeton flew
From interstellar space,
A super nova star that blew
One part toward our place?

Eleven thousand years ago,
It did, when drawing near,
Disturb the sky with fiery show.
All peoples shook with fear.

Today that fear is in our past.
It wasn't gods that fought.
So if what's true comes out at last,
May God's own truth be sought.
