Do Not Be A Beautiful Trouble
by Olawale Ogunsola

A young lady many years ago, after receiving her examination result sheet in a subject I cannot remember now where she scored a poor mark, said, "If I am not a brilliant girl, am very beautiful; I will find a man who will marry me."

Why did she resigned to live only on her beauty? That is now part of history.

Do you know that there are so many ladies who resigned to living only on their beauty? They think that the only "asset" that they have is their "good look". They rely ONLY on their outward appearance. By so doing, many have turned themselves into "Miss Available" to any man. They parade their beauty everywhere; many times they use it as a snare to catch men whom they want to destroy.

Beloved reader, I am not an enemy of good or beautiful things but everything does not end in beauty. I have obseved that those who have worn "Beauty Contests" are not only beautiful outwardly but are also intelligent.

They have beautiful "spirit too".

They have something good to pursue. They have goals as well. Not that they go about to display only their beauty.

It is sad that many who seem to be beautiful are indeed Troubles. The Holy Bible discloses in Proverbs 9:13,
"A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing."

Is this verse relevant to your life? This should not be your portion. A beautiful but foolish woman is a Trouble to herself, home and the society . What does a fool has to offer? The sad part is that she clamor for many things good, bad or ugly. Yet, she has no wisdom to pursue any reasonable goal.

Such Beautiful Trouble is simple and does not know anything. To her, anything goes! She has no knowledge and those without knowledge stand the chance of being destroyed at any time.

Do not be a Beautiful Trouble!

Do you know that life does not end only in beauty? The Holy Bible has this to say about a certain type of woman, no matter their degree of beauty,
"It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop,
than with a brawling woman in a wide house." Prroverbs 21:19, King James Version.

If a corner of the housetop is better than a wide house because of a woman, is it wrong to call such woman A Beautiful Trouble?

What made a coner of housetop a better place is that trouble, a brawling woman, no matter how beautiful she is.

The Scriptures add,
"...the contentions of a wfe are a continual dropping." Proverbs 19:13b, King James Version.

Do you know that this is a type of woman who is a Beautiful Trouble?

The Holy Bible also describes another thus,
"It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and angry woman." Proverbs 21:19,

No matter the degree of beauty of a "contentious and angry woman", she is a Trouble. She will always cause trouble.
During the cause of writing this piece, I remember a single mother of five who once bragged, "I cannot steal. My husband knows that I am good at igniting the fire of discord." Are you like her? Don't be a Beautiful Trouble!
The scriptures declares,
"Every wise woman buildeth her house:
but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands" Pro 14:1 KJV .
Do you want to build or pluck down your house?
Build it, please, wth wisdom . It is foolish to be a clamorous women, a brawling or contentious and angry woman, no matter your the beauty.
Add wisdom to your physical outlook. Don't allow your appearance to intoxicate you. Don't rely on it alone , pursue knowledge , gain understanding and apply wisdom . Then will you not be a Beautiful Trouble .
Be informed that Sarah was a beautiful woman with wisdom , you can also be like her to build your house.
