Snoring
by PamFord Davis

Snoring, to say the least is annoying. It may get laughs in movie scenes but spouses in bedrooms are prone to elbow, kick or shake their snoring mates. When I get perturbed I wake up my husband with a firm "Roll over, you're snoring!"

Many years ago, one of our grandsons received a snoring Elmo. I do not recall who gave him the popular toy but easily remember a humorous incident. His mother got tired of the repetitive annoying snores and took drastic action. She threw it outside.

One night, when trying to go to sleep she heard an unidentifiable noise. After following the sound, she discovered Elmo snoring outside under her window. I am positive; God never sleeps nor snores.

"He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber or sleep (Psalms 121:2-3 NKJ)."
