Duds
by PamFord Davis

We expect things to work; when they don't we are unhappy campers. Fireworks are still big business in the south. Unlike many northeastern states, here in Louisiana, fireworks are legal to purchase and ignite. The selling of fireworks is in celebration of Independence Day and News Years Day. If the buyer fires off a dud, he or she is disappointed.

Join me in disappointing the devil.

"Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. In every situation take the shield of faith, and with it you will be able to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:14-16 HCS)."

Each of the devils ignited arrows are duds!
