The seed of kindness when it's sown
With a sweet tenderness of soul
Goes down deep below unnoticed
After a long while a tall tree

The seed of kindness surely grows
It makes a weary heart to glow
It grows into a giant tree
And gives every man shades for free

Kindness always makes a difference
What everyone loves to'experience
Even the mean, the weak alike
Do receive kindness with a smile

There're countless ways to show kindness
In all, you just need show sweetness
Be not bitter in all the ways
Do'it with a lowly heart of grace

It's not so easy to be kind
When life has been so tough you cried
But when Christ's love renews your mind
You'll have a soft heart for the blind

When we have learned to show kindness
And show it without selfishness
It leaves our hands but won't leave us
It comes right at us or our sons

We don't do good just 'cos life's good
Nor 'cos to us people are true
We show kindness and goodness sow
It's our nature, our call, joy to'our soul
