When You Can't Trust His Hand, Trust His Heart
by Shari Weigerstorfer

There are seasons when you go through times that seem unbearable.

When you ask, "Where are you, Lord? Don't you care?"

Resounding silencefrom the One you trust, the One who is your only hope.

"Why Lord? Why?"

Yet even while you ask, you know: He doesn't usually answer questions like these.

Sometimes He doesn't answer at all, but through the pain, you are aware of one assurance: He is there.

Why He allows certain things, we may never know.

What we do know is this: He doesn't leave us. He abides. He cares more than we know. He loves us more than we can fathom. More than He did His own life.

So, for whatever reason; He's allowing the pain, the confusion, the questions, and the tears.

He won't leave us. He'll go through it with us and He'll get us through. When it's over, we still may never know why but what we will know is this:

Whatever we ever go through, we will never go through it alone.

Maybe that's the answer anyway.

Psalms 23:4 says, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me..." (NASB).

When you can't trust His hand, trust His heart.
